Instructions For International Orders
Important Notice Regarding International
Shipments
(International Shipments means ALL countries other than the USA, including
CANADA and MEXICO)
Each country has its own postal regulations and requirements. Consequently, the costs to ship parcels from the USA to foreign countries varies dramatically. Large companies buy complex software that stores postal regulations and rates in a database to determine shipping costs on the fly. Brasslite does not have this software. The shipping charge for your order must be determined individually. The total cost of your shipment is based on country of origin and weight and therefore shipping charges cannot be listed here.
Shipments to most countries are sent via the US Postal System using the only insured, trackable method available: Global Express Mail (EMS) which takes 3-5 days to arrive. At the customer's discretion a lower cost, slower shipping option is available: First Class International Mail. However, if this method is used there is no insurance available and the customer is responsible in the unlikely event that the package is lost enroute.
Complete your international order by following the steps below:
1) Tally the total amount of your desired items by obtaining
the price(s) of the item(s) as found on the
online order page and adding them up.
2) Send an email to aaron(at)brasslite(dot)com requesting a shipping quote for your desired items.
3) After obtaining the quote for your total, make payment to Brasslite by one of the following methods:
Payment for orders placed from outside the United States must be made by one of three methods:
1) Credit Card (Visa, Mastercard, American Express and Discover via PayPal)*: If you don't have a PayPal account you must create one. To create an account go to https://www.paypal.com and follow the easy instructions. Creating a PayPal account is much easier now than it used to be; linking to a bank account is no longer required. Once your order has been totaled and you've obtained a shipping quote from Brasslite, go to the PayPal site and log in to your account. Click the "Send Money" tab on the PayPal navigation bar. Make the total payment to: order@brasslite.com (must be paid in US Dollars). Select "Goods - Other" on the drop-down menu. Be sure to include your shipping address, the items you want, and bottle sizes in the comments area. If you make a mistake, do not worry. Incorrect payments will be refunded by Brasslite.
* Note: PayPal charges transaction fees for international payments that are significantly higher than domestic payments. Because of this a $3 transaction fee is included per order for international PayPal payments.
2) International Postal Money Order (must be payable in US Dollars).
3) Wire the money by Western Union (must be payable in US Dollars): After money has been wired send an email to aaron@brasslite.com and provided your full name, address and the WU transaction number.
